Do good!
Several (lovely) people I follow on Twitter had some good ideas about the new year.
karenbachmann suggested that we follow CNN Hero @wine_to_water and learn about their mission to give clean water to people around the world.
risager pointed lazy resolution makers to http://moninavelarde.com/newyears/.
rickybuchanan did her math and changed 29 into 35! She converted a 29-gifts-a-day idea into her personal 35-day plan.
Daria said that 2010 was another chance for doing meaningful things.
Here’s a quote from Daria’s post:
I think it’s not about resolutions (those are rarely kept), but about defining what matters for you, your life and acting upon it. It is not so far away what I wrote precisely one year ago, there is just more meaning to it…It’s still viable and we need to work more on Doing Meaningful Things to our lives, to our work, to the world.
Amen to that!
The key to all of these suggestions is simplicity. I’m going to follow their leads.
